Heartwork Bamboo Kimono Robe

Introducing Heartwork — a tribute to the indomitable, heart-centered spirit of women in art! This stunning piece features artist Artemisia Gentileschi’s beloved self-portrait — surrounded by lushly painted forest landscapes, birds, and butterflies. Gentileschi was a gifted and outspoken painter from the 1600s who made her living as an artist during a time when few women did. In a letter to one of her wealthy patrons (who questioned her abilities), she famously wrote, “My illustrious lordship, I'll show you what a woman can do.”

100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry.

Kimono measurements: length 116cm, width 78 cm (across back, underarm to underarm). Model is 5’9” for reference.
